The Annual 'Touch The Truck' Kids Event Returns To The MAC Friday

KIDS LOVE BIG RIGS!

Do your kids love playing with little cars and trucks? Do they scream excitedly when a semi is near; asking the driver to blow the horn? It's that time of year again when your kids can make their playtime a reality!

THE ANNUAL 'TOUCH THE TRUCK' EVENT

The Annual 'Touch The Truck' event, put on by Minser Chiropractic Clinic, will be held at the MAC (Municipal Athletic Complex) this Friday, September 6th from 4 pm until 7 pm.

GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL

This is a great opportunity for kids of all ages to get up close and personal with some big rigs!

The event allows kids to climb in the vehicles, sit in the driver's seat, and talk to the drivers of those vehicles.

This year, your kids will have a wide variety of vehicles to explore including an ambulance, a big firetruck, a police car, a semi, a dump truck, and maybe even some big construction equipment. Rumor has it that there might even be a race car on hand for kids to check out.

This is a SAFE event as all of the vehicles are parked and off.

Whether they want to turn the steering wheel, push buttons, check out the big tires, or maybe just chat with the drivers of those vehicles, this event is sure to be educational, and most of all, a lot of fun.

ACTIVITIES

There will also be food available for a goodwill donation that may include things like hot dogs, and nachos.

Kids can also enjoy a variety of activities while they are at the event, including face painting. Kids are allowed to go to any vehicle they want, and they can revisit any vehicle as much as they want.

INDY AND FACT

This year, the proceeds from the event are going to benefit two very important organizations in our area. The Indy Foundation provides support for Minnesota Cancer Warriors and their families with love, faith, and financial support; and FACT (Feeding Area Children Together) provides meals for kids in school to have at home over the weekend if they aren't able to have enough food at home for a wide variety of reasons.
