- Lots of classic rockers have been knighted in the U.K., and now we can add Kinks frontman Ray Davies to the list! He was knighted today by the Prince of Whales at Buckingham Palace. Some previously knighted rockers include Paul McCartney, Elton John, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart and Van Morrison!
- Got some sad news for Fleetwood Mac fans. It would appear that Stevie Nicks is thoroughly enjoying her solo career, and the possibility of a new Fleetwood Mac album is basically 0%. Nicks said in a recent interview that she didn’t see the point in spending a bunch of time and money on a new album that wouldn’t sell.
- This year’s music lineup just keeps getting better and better in Minnesota – as we just got word that Jefferson Starship is coming to Hopkins in May! You’ll be able to check them out on May 5th at the Hopkins Center. Get ticket info on the 103.7 The Loon Concert Calendar!
- While lots of classic rock bands are announcing new tours, Gregg Allman has just canceled all of his remaining 2017 concert dates. There has been no explanation as to why, but Gregg canceled a few shows last August due to pneumonia.
