Hand sanitizer.  It's everywhere.  And it seems like we've only been hearing about it for the last few years, or so.  But it's really been around for a lot longer than that.  It's actually been in the stores since the late '80s.  It was used in the medical field in the 60s.  Purell started selling it in 1988.

Most people just put a little dab on their hands, rub them together for a few seconds and call it a day.  But evidently you need to do that for at least 15 seconds.  Really??  Who puts enough on their hands to actually have something to rub for 15 or more seconds?  And doing it for 30 seconds isn't any better than 15.  Weird, right?

Along with hand sanitizer, the Lysol wipes are right by my side at all times too!!!  I'm wiping everything off from now on.  UGH!
