Ted Nugent hasn't been able to keep himself out of the news and out of trouble for the past few weeks and his latest excuse for verbal diarrhea is being sick.
Ted Nugent responded to the notion that he’s not a moderate during an interview on ‘CBS This Morning’ by, well, flipping out a bit, offering — in off-color language — to perform sexual acts on both the male reporter and a nearby female producer if they could find someone who cares more about people and the planet than he does.
“Evil,” “Criminals,” “Vile,” “Coyotes” … these are just four of the words rocker Ted Nugent chose for his speech at the NRA Convention in St. Louis on Saturday. All descriptions were aimed at the White House, with the Motor City Madman adding that “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
It turns out you can’t describe the president as “vile” and “evil” and say things like “We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November” without catching the attention of a few government agencies. Ted Nugent‘s comments at an NRA Convention have brought him under the watch of the U.S. Secret Service.
At the NRA Convention in St. Louis last week, the Motor City Madman loaded up with buckshot and blasted one in the face of the current administration with a few choice words specifically aimed at President Obama and his cabinet.
From the wacked-out world of Ted Nugent came this 1980 song..."Wango Tango" off the Scream Dream album. While it never received much acclaim (it only reached #86 on the Billboard Hot 100), it became a staple at all Nugent shows. It also garnered very little love from Guitar World Magazine as they listed it at #7 on their Worst Guitar Solos Ever countdown...
Styx, Ted Nugent and REO Speedwagon are teaming up for a 30-date triple-threat summer tour named “The Midwest Rock ‘N Roll Express,” which will kick off May 1 in Hidalgo, Texas and cross all over the country before winding up in Gilford, N.Y. on July 7.
Ted makes some good points. I think if Ted would settle down a bit, he might make his point a little clearer. But I have to agree, don't mess with the 2nd amendment.
