Turkish Couple Marries and Celebrates By Feeding Syrian Refugees

Weddings today tend to be huge on grandiosity (and bills). They range from just going to the courthouse to breaking the bank. Blahblahblah, it's all about the bride, right?

In Turkey, a lovely couple exchanged vows and pledged a lifetime of love to each other (or whatever). Whereas couples typically head right for the reception for an exquisite meal (or to the bar for shots), this couple celebrated their wedding by feeding Syrian refugees.

The idea was actually that of the groom's father. The idea won the couple over, and they pooled the money received from family to share their wedding meal with refugees who had fled the Syrian civil war.

And all while still donning their wedding day best.
