Sammy Hagar Featured On Eighties At Eight With “Heavy Metal” [VIDEO]

Sammy Hagar has been in quite a few bands in his time plus a solo career. The late Ronnie Montrose, The Waboritas, HSAS (Hagar, Schone, Aaronson, Shrieve), and Chickenfoot, just to name a few.

Sammy was born in California and named after his grandfather (mother's side) Sam Roy Hagar.

Sammy founded the Cabo Wabo Tequila and restaurant chain.

He was inducted into the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame with Van Halen in 2007.

This song was used in the science fiction movie of the same name, and was also featured on the movie's soundtrack album.
The show South Park used the song in one of it's episodes.
