Skid Row Featured On 80’s At 8 With “18 And Life” [VIDEO]

Skid Row the heavy sound of the band formed in Tom's River, New Jersey in 1986 and the members were Sebastian Bach (vocals), Dave "The Snake" Sabo (guitar), Scotti Hill (guitar), Rachel Bolan (bass) and Rob Affuso (drums).

I had the dubious honor of meeting Sebastian and he is a wild thing but lot's of personality and personally a key to their success.

With the help of  Bon Jovi Skid Row got signed to record deal. Dave Sabo and Bon Jovi were good friends from way back that helped with everything.

'18 and Life' was written by Dave "The Snake" Sabo  after he read in a newspaper about an 18-year-old boy who shot his friend by accident. He thought the gun was empty, well he ended up in prison for life. Another one in 1989 that MTV helped reach well in the charts and a lot of airplay.

Skid Row got a lot of leg support from bands like KISS, Guns-N-Roses and Aerosmith.
