With the forecast calling for the hottest weather of the summer so far, the National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for St. Cloud and the surrounding area for tomorrow (Monday) -- when the heat index is expected to reach 105˚.
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Central Minnesota, in effect until 8pm tonight. High temperatures expected in the mid-90s, combined with high dew points, will create heat index readings from 96 to 102 degrees.
Another record high was set in St. Cloud on Monday as the afternoon temp officially soared to 95. A Heat Advisory remains in effect for Central Minnesota today, with highs expected in the low 90s, with the heat index in the low 100s.
